The Droidworx Retractable Landing is a product of months of R&D, design and re-design to perfect this classy piece of engineering. Not only did it have to ensure strength and longevity, it also had to offer easy pack down features and match the over-all design outlook which has become a signature of the Droidworx range. This Retractable Landing gear offers clear unobstructed 360 view for your camera AND is super easy to pack down with quick release snap on/off “legs” and skids, supplementing the slide on/off camera gear rail assembly. The kit includes Boom Battery Mounting Plates for mounting your batteries onto the booms, it’s ground clearance is 285mm. The mechanism comes fully assembled – simply put the legs together and snap them on. The set can be retrofitted to fixed landing gear frames. It works in conjunction with the Droidworx Quick Release advanced Vibration Absorbing Gear Rail Assembly already supplied with the Fixed Landing Gear craft – so please note: You need the Gear Rail Assembly also (5404-0120) with your Retractable Landing Gear to provide for camera gimbal mounting. For AD/VM craft Upgrade Gear Rail/Landing Gear Assemblies (4706-0030) are available in the upgrade sections of these models to retrofit the Retracts.


Crash cage 5-spoke + dome high impact XM/SkyJib Lite

Instead of the standard polycarbonate dome you can choose for the super
impact resistant high impact dome, vacuum molded from a thicker 2mm polycarbonate.
This dome also fits underneath your standard included XM/SkyJib Lite 5-spoke crash cage.


Crash cage 5-spoke + dome XM/SkyJib Lite

The all new 5-spoke crash cage consists of a fiberglass cage contruction
mounted on a impact absorbing aluminium ring. We furthermore include a
highly impact resistant polycarbonate dome for further protection against moist and dust.
You can use either or, or both – the dome fits underneath the crash cage.
Both the crash cage and the dome attach to your center section with quick release
mounting posts allowing easy access to your flight electronics.

Flight-Ctrl V2.1 ME with ACC Upgrade (assembled)

This is a Flight-Ctrl 2.1-ME kit for MikroKotper including ACC Upgrade for a better altitude control. The ACC Upgrade is a small PCB that is already mounted on the FlightCtrl. All parts of the Flight control are already assembled - no soldering required.

Navigation Kit.

This is an expansion set for GPS-based navigation for the MikroKopter
. The set consists of a Navi-Ctrl-board, a MKGPS with already mounted GPS Shield and micro-SD card for logging of flight data.


Using the navigation set the following functions are possible:

  • Automatic waypoint flight (WP) with defined speeds and altitudes (up to 32 WPs)
  • Automatic hold of position (Position Hold)
  • Automatic Fly Back to the starting point (Coming Home)
  • Automatic flight to Point Of Interests (POI)
  • Automatically create panorama pictures (when using a camera)
  • Automatic flight of POI / WP with simultaneous triggering of a connected camera
  • determining the current position of the MikroKopter
  • write log files to the SD card. The route can e.g. are displayed in Google Earth and analyzed in detail.

The transmitters DC16 and DS-16 came to existence under cooperation of professional pilots and world champions.
