Hi Guys,
Yet another question, I am currently testing the Hexa XL, flying the AV200 360 pan camera mount together with the Canon G12 and 2 5800mah batteries. The all up flying weight is 4.5 kgs. The motors are the Axi 2814 22 fitted with Xoar 13 7 props. I am getting battery warning at about 8000mah used and only about 9mins of flight, the batteries are new only about 5 flights on them, the current draw in hover with position hold and altitude hold is between 55 and 58 amps. Does this sound correct or is it drawing too much. How to get better power consumption, I also have some Tiger motors however at this time i have forgotten the model numbers but they were supposed to be the MK 3538 equivalent and they also draw the same current as the Axi.

Sounds like the battery weight be be in the heavy end.

My Okto XL with 2 5800mah and nex5n draw 33amp average, fly for 9 min till battery warning.
