No Receiver Signal
« on: August 05, 2012, 06:30:26 AM »

Hello,
I have recently ordered a GR-16 receiver to replace our previously damaged one.
I have followed the manual and made the connections to PPM plug as is mentioned in the manual. I have not connected the telemetry (T) to RX because I don't want telemetry and for some reason the Flight controller is showing "No Receiver signal" error.  :-\
Though
1) The receiver is binded with the transmitter.
2) It is on channel 8 where there is PPM sum signal out.
3) the transmitter is set to SUMO.
Upon googling the issue initially I thought the problem is because of the different versions of transmitter(Old one) and receiver(New one). So I tried upgrading the version of transmitter to latest available one with no luck.
Did I miss something? :'(
Thank you. :D

No, that doesn't.
I was saying I have already set that parameter to the right value.

If you have a graupner HOTT receiver you should choose that in mk-tool.

PPM multisignal is for other receivers with PPM-out.

Here is a some update on what all I have tried.
1) I have seen that the pin-15 of processor is shorted with ppm out.(So seems like board is n't a problem.)
2) I actually have two receivers and both seem not to work.
3) We tried almost everything like. updating the transmitter, downgrading the flight controller firmware and we tried every option in mk-tool for the kind of transmitter.
But are still facing the same error.
This is really freaking me out >:(
Hope someone can help me with this.

I was thinking, i hope that "jeti" bridge dont need to be soldered to get it to work. But if i understand it its only if you use telemetry.

Have you tried upgrade the receiver? I use V4 on both my receiver and transmitter. And the latest firmware on FC/Navi/.

I got mine to work. After updating the firmware on the receiver, apparently you have to back into the transmitter and change back to SUMO 12:

Thanks Steve we tried it with no luck.
Oh Dear lord! seems like I have tried everything and I even don't know with what is the problem?
I am sure neither the flight controller nor the receiver is a problem.
Flight control may not be the problem because it is cool in all the other aspects like with motors and ESC's.
Receiver cannot be a problem because we got two new receivers and both of them seems not working. Statistically we cannot have two defective pieces in one package.

What about connecting the telemetry connections to make sure that isn't causing the problem?
