Just trying to figure out how best to mount the GR-24 on my Hexa. The antenna size looks to be too large to be a dipole at 2.4 GHz. Don't know why it's that size unless it was a diversity antenna system. Then I'd mount one vertical and the other horizontal (at 90 deg to each other) but I don't think it's a diversity system. It would be easier if I knew what kind of antenna it was so I can figure out how to mount it to get maximum range. Unless I hear from anyone who knows for sure, I guess I'll mount them like a dipole and in the vertical position. Any comments?

The antennas can be Horizontal or Vertical depending on the radio.
Here are a few snaps of my vertical mount.  See early parts of this conversation
for source of the tubing.  I used two-part epoxy and the shrink tubing since
nothing else wants to stick to the tubing.
Be careful of the telemetry connection.
