Battery ( gas sensor MX20)
« on: April 19, 2012, 10:57:11 AM »

Hi,

I just started using 2  5000 lipo in parrell and I noticed that on the sensor on the mx 20 the screen which shows how much gas is left the meter only reads 1/4 full even though the lipos are fully charged , i checked on the mk tools  osd , where it reads full charge,
On the other hand if i just use 1 lipo it will read full on the mx 20 , any idea what is going on.

Thanks

Are you talking about the standard MX-20 telemetry screens or the MK specific ones?

the sensors i see are as follows, hit right or left arrow on the left side of radio ,there are about 11 screens as you continue.

on the other side you hit set and go to telementry  , settings and data view .

which of these are you refering to

Sman

In the left side press the ESC button for about two seconds until the screen changes.  On the right side use the down arrow key to scroll down to the second item.  Press the SET button on the right side to select.  The use the right arrow key on the right side to get to the MK screens.

You mean this screen doesn't work or the data doesn't work?

On mine the standard MX screens work fine but don't display the battery image correctly as far as full etc. It does say the correct volts/amps as far as I can remember but I really just use the MK screens ( above ) as they work perfectly. Actually since I installed the Hott+ .86 firmware for the FC I just use the MK screens for everything and don't even bother with a laptop anymore... pretty nice.

Hi ,
Re,loaded the fw 1.003 and seems to have cured part of the problem, Mk  screens and data work .
But on the other side battery "gas guage " still same problem.

Thanks
