ESC for AXI
«
on:
March 15, 2012, 06:38:05 PM »
The ESC stocked by Ziggy is $129 each. That puts Wookong with AXI's into a bracket that is not cost effective for hexa or octo.
Is there any other ESC that is reliable for less money?

They should be here this week. All I'm interested in is that they 400hz frequency.
This is what it looks like now, I will be upgrading to carbon. Just waiting for the rest of the stuff.
Cheers

How did you tie all the power lines into one battery? did you use a connector board?

Yes I did use a power board.
I got mine from Flash RC (red Board) also I use the one from Abusemark (black board for my quad) which it has connections for the led's and a regulator.
Cheers

I think I need some of those Maytech's. They have "Over-eat Protection"..lol
FYI: I have the Axi 2820/14 (150gr each) on my quad and I have had problems with over heating ESC. I've attached heatsinks but I still can't fly it in the summer.....

Thanks Ziggy. I should have mentioned I'm flying MK! I just read the description of the maytech's and got tickled. I need some "over-eating protection". lol
BTW: I appreciate all of your knowledge and input!
